Dannerhuset is a private, humanitarian organization engaged in the topics of women’s rights and social politics nationally and internationally. The international work focuses especially on the Middle East region. The mission is to generate debate on gender and equality, prevent and document violence against women and children and helping the victims and their case. The organization also runs a crisis center and shelter for women and children who have been subjected to domestic violence in Denmark.
