The conference 'Addressing Gender and Politics -North and South' that will be held October 31 - November 2, 2011 now has announced its program that includes Danish and various Arab speakers and experts in the fields of 'The Political Empowerment of Women', 'Women, Activismism and the Media (old and new)', 'Gender and Migration' and 'Gender and Religion.'

Conference themes: 

As an expert on female representation within the political sphere and on different quota systems, I have today gone on a mission in as a consultant for the Inter-Parliamentary Union, IPU in Tunisia.

For the launch of Who is She in Lebanon the director  Wafa'a Halawi  made a documentary on the database project and the women pioneers in Lebanon for IWSAW.

Danish-Arab Private Sector Partnership working for the advancement of women in the private sector in Jordan

In the spring of 2010, three workshops took place in Jordan on how to promote the advancement of women in the private sector by implementing diversity and inclusion programmes in Jordanian companies.
