    KVINFO is now member of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network

    On 2 June KVINFO became a member of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network (EMHRN) – a network of more than 80 human rights organizations and institutions in Europe and the Mediterranean area. The decision to admit KVINFO as a member was made on the network’s general assembly in Copenhagen, running from 31 May to 3 June. Organisations from 30 countries in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa are part of the network, including many countries where KVINFO has established partnerships.

    Feminism and Islamic Perspectives: New Horizons of Knowledge and Reform

    A conference on feminism and Islam will take place in Cairo 17-18 March 2012.  The conference "Feminism and Islamic Perspectives: New Horizons of Knowledge and Reform" aims to stir debate on the subject  and to exchange experiences regarding Muslim women’s issues in the Arab region and in a European context.

Morocco: Women Battle Against Domestic Abuse
Countless Moroccan women continue to face abuse and sexual violence at the hands of their husbands.
