    Military ranks, but no uniforms and training to Saudi women passport control officers

    In order to promote gender equality in Saudi Arabia, the General Department of Passports in the Kingdom has decided to grant the women officers handling passport control military ranks and access to the same promotions as men. However, the women will not be required to wear uniform and undergo military training. The ranks will be designated according to education, degrees and individual professional records.
